Mayur Vihar Handball Team Advances to CBSE National Handball Tournament Semi-Finals




New Delhi, In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, Vidya Bal Bhawan Senior Secondary School's handball team from Mayur Vihar Phase 3, Delhi, secured a spot in the semi-finals of the CBSE National Handball Tournament held at Acharyakulam, Patanjali Vidyapeeth, Haridwar. The tournament, which commenced on November 29th, witnessed an intense quarter-final clash where the Mayur Vihar team triumphed over the Tamil Nadu squad with a convincing score of 25-15.

- League Matches:

  - Vidya Bal Bhavan vs. Rajasthan: 17-13

  - Vidya Bal Bhavan vs. Karnataka: 22-19

  - Vidya Bal Bhavan vs. Abu Dhabi: 17-14

The school's handball team showcased exceptional prowess in the league matches, with captain Bhavishya leading the charge. Notable contributions came from players Kunal, Karthik, Mohit, Ayushman, and Sagar, who played pivotal roles in securing victories.
